UNESCO World Heritage Sites (In order visited)
 

·        Memphis and its Necropolis – the Pyramid Fields from Giza to Dahshur – This includes Memphis, Mit Rahina Museum, Saqqara and the Step Pyramid, the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.

·        Ancient Thebes with its Necropolis – This includes Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Al-Deir Al-Bahari Temple (Hatshepsut Temple), The Valley of the Kings, The Valley of the Queens, The Colossi of Memnon.

·        Nubian Monuments from Abu Simbel to Philae – This includes Abu Simbel, Philae, Stone Quarries and the Unfinished Obelisk.

·        Historic Cairo – This includes the Citadel Area and the Mosque of Mohammad Ali.

·        Pharaonic temples in Upper Egypt from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (This is on the UNESCO Tentative List) – These include Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple.

·        Alexandria, ancient remains and the new library (This is on the UNESCO Tentative List) – It is not clear on the UNESCO website, but I would think that this would include the Catacombs of Kom El-Shuqafa and The Roman Theatre as well as the new library.
